Coyotes are considered so irritant due to various problems they create. One of the most notable reasons that coyotes are problematic as they can invade your property and start messing all over that may include eating all fruits and vegetables from your yard, victimizing your pets and livestock, emptying your garbage can on floor in search of food. In fact, they can also consider your yard as their own latrine.

All of these activities by coyotes can put you in danger as their feces can carry disease(s) which could be very harmful for your family and pets. Let’s have a look on some solutions to get rid of these annoying coyotes.

Fencing:

A full height and fully covered fencing can be a good source to prevent coyote entering in your property. A fence with a wire and sharp edges would play a more useful role for protection.

Trapping:

Trapping is not so easy for an ordinary man as it requires technique and expertise because coyotes are sharp and are not easier to be caught. A basic idea to trap a coyote is to dig a hole between coyote’s path. The hole should be at least 1.8 feet deep and 1 foot wide. No signs should be left so that coyote cannot t detect the trap. After digging the hole, pour some lose mud and dirt over the hole so it doesn’t provide a smooth surface to stand, instead that lose dirt push coyote easily in the hole. And definitely, a proper kit should be used to catch the coyote and prevent it from getting out of the trap.

Exclusion:

Another simple technique is to exclude all the food attractions from the place where coyote is usually seen. Also cover your pets and livestock. Simply, don’t keep anything that can play a magnetic character for coyotes to get closer. However, a lot of methods can be applied to get rid of coyotes but a citizen should be careful and take preventive measures if coyote is found roaming in a town.
